Today was caregiver hand-off day. My wife Laura arrived to assume caregiving responsibilities and my brother planned to leave in the evening. Unfortunately his flight was cancelled so he stayed an extra night for a flight in the early morning. Thanks to John for getting us started on this rotation! He accomplished a lot with gathering information on local stores and restaurants, keeping me company, and keeping an eye on my health.
I had several doctors appointments today. My counts are as expected, slightly higher than last time. I also had a bone marrow biopsy, which should show the status of the AML as well as how my body has adopted the new stem cells. We won’t know all the details until a couple of days from now. I still have an annoying rash, but hopefully that will subside over time.
